"On a 10/10 ranking this place is a 100. Think soul food but elegant and classy. Reservations are a must and yes even with a reservation expect a little bit of a wait. This place is popular for a very good reason. The staff was warm and welcoming. We placed our order and our food started coming out one by one. Which was perfect for us because we ordered a lot and planned to share. By the time we were finished with one plate the next plate was in front of us. Every bite we took was amazing. Each plate was perfect. They do not miss at all. Everything reminded me of being at my grandma’s dinner table but with a classy twist. The Salmon croquettes and the sauce was delicious-I wanted more. The Salmon Czarina and its sauce was even more delicious. The Sweet potato Hoe Cakes were delicious-you gotta get them ! Unc’s wings with the collard green dip delicious-yes please! The collard green dip was the star. Deviled eggs were delicious. The dirty mushroom risotto was delicious and had a little kick to them that sneaks up on you. But it’s so good you can’t stop eating it-get it! The grilled chicken with the berbere sauce and lentils was delicious. it all was delicious every single thing was delicious. This restaurant is hands down the best restaurant I’ve been to in Seattle so far and I don’t think I could find better. This is it! Call and get your reservation and go. That’s all I got for you just go! I’ll see you there because I’m going back."

"This is a real gem. Stopped in right after landing in Seattle. This is world class service. I sat at the bar for this amazing experience. Bartender was so helpful with guiding us through the menu. Hoe Cakes were absolutely delicious. This took me back to my childhood days. Fluffy, buttery and pillowy soak in honey. Dumplings were amazing. The stuffed rainbow trout was out of this world. Simply mind blowing. Those greens were on another level. Save a hoe cake for the pot liquor. Macaroni and cheese was perfectly cooked. Pork chops were extremely tender and super delicious. I highly recommend this place. It will be a must stop for me every time I visit Seattle. Simply amazing!"

"Phenomenal spot in Seattle. Great food, great cocktails, great atmosphere. It's a vibe! I should have known that a place selling Unc's wings would have good food. What stood out most was the dirty mushroom risotto. So delicious that I ate the leftovers cold."
