"Wonderful Japanese-inspired pastry and cafe in First Hill area. Tried the caramel coffee jelly and Kyoto cake. The Kyoto cake is a bit like a dense matcha brownie with a thin layer of strawberry chocolate filling. It’s not very sweet and the matcha flavor is reminiscent of the matcha flavors that you might experience in Japan. Caramel coffee jelly was on the sweeter side, but I really liked the coffee jelly in the drink. They give you a thicker straw with this drink. There’s a good selection of slice cakes and pastries, and I saw multiple people coming in to pick up their cake orders - so I imagine this is quite popular. This store is unique not only because of their interior but their cakes and flavor aren’t what you would find elsewhere. Staff here is also quite friendly, they will give you recommendations. Highly recommend!"

"Such a cute warm cafe with a large selection of pastries, cakes, beverages, and a few savory options like sandwiches and quiche. Love the variety of flavors, it was hard to choose just a few. I especially loved the hojicha cake. Not a lot of seating but a few inside and few outside. I comfortably parked myself at the window seat and read for a while. I’ll be back for more!"

"This is the best fruit tart in Seattle！It tastes just like the ones I had in Japan! The fruits are very fresh, with no weird stale taste. My favorite part is the crust！It’s crispy and has a really nice aroma. If you need a birthday cake, I highly recommend this fruit tart! The message plate on top is super cute 💗💗"
