"I started paddling with SCKC a few years ago and love the group! They have a brand new boat house on Green Lake and many styles of kayaks and canoes. They are also getting paddle boards. I joined one of the adult classes. There are classes for kids too. I had paddling experience before joining but it’s not necessary — lots of boat options and instruction. There are also opportunities to race, which is really fun! It’s a friendly and welcoming community. I’ll definitely continue to paddle with SCKC."

"The new boathouse and docks are great, with easy access for adult and youth paddlers. Suggest taking a class through Seattle Parks and Rec and then joining the club! Spring and summer paddling at Green Lake is fun! And 2025 will have two big events at the lake -- Ted Houk Regatta June 14-15 and Nationals August 12-15."

"I used to paddle here. I believe that they are in these containers now but will soon move out when the rower's boathouse is finished."
